Welcome to Evans Orchard and Cider Mill!  We are a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing each and every one of our customers fresh fruits and vegetables. 

Evans Orchard, established in 1994, began as an alternative venture to tobacco.  We started with a small vegetable garden and going to local farmers markets.  We then expanded to build a small sales shed on the farm and began planting our orchard.  In 2001 we converted our old tobacco barn into a retail sales area, cooling facility and cider press and we have been growing ever since.  Our original sales shed is now a certified kitchen that we use for fudge, apple pies, and serving lunch.

We try to use sustainable agricultural growing practices in everything we do on the farm.  We practice the principle that we must meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs.  Using these practices we have over twelve acres in apples, peaches, and pears, two acres in small fruit, plus thirty acres of vegetables.  We go to the local farmers markets five days a week with all of our fruits and vegetables plus have them in our country store from May through December.

We have also diversified to several entertainment ventures including farm tours, birthday parties, and bonfires.  We have a play area for kids, including a corn maze, hay mountain with slides, rope maze and much more.  We have u-pick pumpkins and apples, host thousands of children on school tours, festivals, live music, hay rides and a gift store filled with great gift items.  There is also a new section in our store dedicated to products made and produced only in Kentucky!
